Rules of Conduct for Guests and Clients of Albufeira Sol Hotel & Spa

The Management of this hotel intends to ensure and promote the tranquillity, safety, and well-being of all its guests and employees, as well as the facilities where the hotel is located.

To this end, guests and clients of this hotel are expressly obligated to observe the following Rules of Conduct:

 

1.

General Behaviour:

  • All guests are required to maintain a respectful, cordial, and civilized attitude toward each other and toward all employees, staff, or users of this hotel.
  • Any form of aggression, whether verbal or physical, any form of harassment, and/or abusive, discriminatory, aggressive, or provocative behaviour are strictly prohibited and grounds for expulsion.

 

2.

Respect for Common Areas:

  • Common areas must be used by guests, with respect for other users.
  • Common areas must be kept clean.
  • Avoid noisy behaviour that may disturb other guests. 
  • Smoking is not permitted in indoor areas, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear are required throughout the hotel.
  • The use of guestroom towels at the pool and/or beach is not permitted.

 

3.

Noise and Quiet Hours:

  • Quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 8 AM.
  • Parties, loud music, or unauthorized loud behaviour are grounds for a warning or expulsion.

 

4.

Care for Facilities and Equipment:

  • Use the facilities, equipment, and furniture with care.
  • Report damage immediately upon arrival.
  • Damage caused intentionally or through negligence may be charged to the guest.
  • The use of guestroom towels at the pool and/or beach is not permitted.

 

5.

Security:

  • Ensure that the doors to your guestroom are locked when you are away. • The use of dangerous or flammable equipment is prohibited inside the hotel.
  • Store valuables in the room safe or at reception.
  • The hotel is not responsible for items left in your room.
  • Check-in for guests under 18 years of age is not permitted.
  • All guests (including children) are required to present their identification document (with photo).

 

6.

Consumption or Possession of Illicit Substances:

  • The consumption or possession of any illicit substances on the premises of this hotel is strictly prohibited, and the appropriate law enforcement authorities will be contacted for appropriate reporting.
  • Excessive alcohol consumption that results in uncontrolled, aggressive, abusive, provocative, or discriminatory behaviour is grounds for expulsion from this hotel.

 

7.

Visiting Policy:

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight at the hotel.
  • Any visits must be communicated and authorized by the front desk.
  • Access to the hotel’s leisure areas is only permitted to guests staying there.

 

8.

Use of Leisure Areas

  • Respect the specific rules for using the pool, gym, spa, and other facilities.
  • Children must always be accompanied by an adult in common areas.

 

9.

Pool Use Standards:

  • Use of pool loungers is free and cannot be reserved. Hotel staff is authorized to release unused loungers for 30 consecutive minutes. In this case, personal items on unused loungers will be returned to the front desk.
  • It is prohibited to use room towels in the pool and/or on the beach. Guests should contact the spa, where they can request towel service for exclusive pool and/or beach use, subject to a deposit. 
  • It is prohibited to bring glasses, bottles, and/or any glass objects into the pool area.

 

10.

Pets

  • The hotel does not accept pets – except guide dogs.

 

11.

Payment, Deposit, and Cancellation Policy:

  • Comply with the established deadlines for cancellations, check-in, and check-out.
  • The property requests a credit or debit card deposit as a guarantee for damages caused or unpaid additional expenses.
  • Additional expenses must be settled upon check-out.

Consequences for Non-Compliance with the Rules:

 

  • Failure to comply with the rules set forth herein may result in a warning, financial compensation, or, in serious cases, expulsion from the hotel, without the right to any refund.
  • Management reserves the right to contact law enforcement whenever deemed necessary to protect people or property
